Church of England calls for asylum law change
All asylum seekers should be given the chance to work, the Church of England General Synod has said.
The Church of England General Synod called on the Government to give asylum seekers permission to work and also voted to call for an amnesty for people whose cases are still caught up in the asylum backlog. See full report.
